Golfers, families and people who like a fire in the evening
Faithlegg's 18-hole parkland course starts beside the house, and golfers can leave the clubs by the door and walk to the first tee. Green fees are paid to the club.
For families, the house has a travel cot and high chair, a washing machine and dryer, a proper kitchen, and a patio that opens onto lawn. The hotel pool and leisure centre are 200 metres away, by day pass.
Whatever the weather, the open fireplace and the sofas are the reason people come back.

Waterford city
Ireland's oldest city, about fifteen minutes by car: the Viking Triangle, the House of Waterford Crystal, the Medieval Museum, restaurants and the Saturday market.
Waterford Greenway
A 46 km off-road cycling and walking route from Waterford city to Dungarvan along the old railway line, with bike hire at both ends.
Dunmore East and Tramore
The fishing village of Dunmore East and its coves are around twenty minutes away; Tramore's long beach and promenade about twenty-five.
Passage East ferry
Ten minutes from the house, the car ferry crosses the estuary to Ballyhack in Co. Wexford, for Hook Head lighthouse, Tintern Abbey and Dunbrody.
Cheekpoint and the estuary
Walks along the Suir estuary from the village of Cheekpoint, and the Minaun viewpoint over the meeting of the three sisters rivers.
The Copper Coast
West of Tramore, the UNESCO Global Geopark coastline of cliffs, coves and beaches, within an hour's drive.
