Who we are

Bolton Mews at Faithlegg is a privately owned holiday home let by its owners, Ciaran Doyle and Louise Farrell, Bolton Mews, Faithlegg, Co. Waterford, Ireland. Contact: through the contact form on this website.

What we collect and why

When you book, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the details of your stay, so that we can confirm the booking, send you access details and contact you about your stay. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we collect the details you type in so that we can reply.

The legal basis for this is the performance of our contract with you (the booking) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Who we share it with

Your booking details are held in Smoobu, the property management system we use, and payment is processed by Stripe. Both act as our processors under contract. If you book through Airbnb or Booking.com, their own privacy policies also apply. We do not sell or pass your details to anyone else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes, currently six years after the end of the year of your stay. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The booking calendar and map are provided by Smoobu and Google respectively and may set their own functional cookies when you use them. [If analytics are added: name the tool here.]

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it, using the contact form on this website. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
