Booking terms

Last updated: 12 September 2026.

1. Who we are

Bolton Mews at Faithlegg is a privately owned holiday home at Bolton Mews, Faithlegg, Co. Waterford, Ireland, let by its owners, Ciaran Doyle and Louise Farrell. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean the owners. "You" means the person making the booking and everyone in the party. Contact: through the contact form on this website.

2. Your booking

A booking is made when you complete the booking form on our website and payment is taken. We will email a confirmation. The person making the booking must be at least 18 and is responsible for the whole party.

The house sleeps a maximum of 4 adults plus one infant in a travel cot. Bookings for more people than stated will be refused or, if discovered during the stay, ended without refund.

3. Price and payment

The price shown at the time of booking is the full price for the stay for up to 4 guests, including cleaning, linen, towels, WiFi and parking. Payment in full is taken by card at the time of booking through Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Optional extras (early check-in, late check-out, EV charging) can be added at booking or requested afterwards, subject to availability, and are charged at the prices shown.

Access to Faithlegg House Hotel's leisure centre, pool, spa, golf course, restaurants and bar is not included in the price. These are provided by the hotel, are subject to the hotel's availability and rules, and are paid for directly to the hotel.

4. Arrival and departure

Check-in is from 15:00 on the day of arrival and check-out is by 11:00 on the day of departure, unless an early check-in or late check-out extra has been booked and confirmed. Access is by lockbox; we send the code and directions before arrival. Bookings must be made at least one day before arrival.

5. Cancellation and changes

  1. If you cancel 28 or more days before the arrival date, we refund the full amount paid.
  2. If you cancel less than 28 days before arrival, or do not arrive, no refund is due.
  3. Refunds are made to the card used to pay, normally within 10 working days.
  4. You may ask to move a booking to other dates. We will do our best to help, and any difference in price applies. A moved booking cannot then be cancelled for a refund inside the periods above.
  5. If we have to cancel your booking for reasons within our control, we will refund everything you have paid. If the house becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control (for example flood, fire, loss of utilities), we will refund everything you have paid and that is the limit of our liability. We recommend travel insurance.

6. Looking after the house

We do not take a damage deposit. By booking you agree to treat the house with care and to pay the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing anything damaged, broken or lost during your stay beyond normal wear and tear, and any additional cleaning needed if the house is left in an unreasonable state. We will tell you about any such charge in writing with photographs, and we may charge it to the card used for the booking.

Please tell us about any damage or breakage as soon as it happens.

7. House rules

No parties or events. No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the house. Pets are not generally permitted. A small pet may be accepted by prior arrangement on payment of a security deposit; please ask before booking. Please keep noise down after 22:00; the mews is a residential terrace. The open fireplace may be used and must never be left burning unattended or when you go to bed. Please switch off the heating and lights and lock the house when you leave. The house is on the grounds of Faithlegg House Hotel and guests are expected to respect the resort's grounds and neighbours.

8. Our responsibilities and yours

We will provide the house as described on our website, clean and ready on arrival. If anything is not right, tell us at once so we can put it right; we cannot resolve problems we only hear about after departure.

We are not liable for loss of or damage to your belongings or vehicle, or for injury, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Children must be supervised at all times, including near the open fire, the patio and the resort grounds and golf course.

9. Your details

We collect the details needed to manage your booking (name, email, phone, and payment handled by Stripe). We use them only for your stay and to contact you about it. See our privacy policy.

10. General

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If any part of them is found to be unenforceable the rest still applies. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
